Adopt A Display

"Adopt-A-Display" Sponsorship Program

The Simcoe Christmas Panorama transforms downtown parks in Norfolk County into a winter wonderland using thousands of lights and themed displays. Strategic placement of exhibits along the river maximizes their reflection upon the water; one look and you will understand why we call it the "River of Lights" show. Christmas carols, hand-chimed in the nearby Carillon Tower enhance the experience for visitors viewing our displays each evening.

In addition to the sights and sounds, this five week celebration is dedicated to providing free activities for visitors to enjoy with their friends and families. We kick it off with our Opening Night Ceremony where people gather to sing carols, visit with Santa and witness the honorary guest light the park for the first time each season. Residents are invited to help us "Light Up Norfolk County" by entering our Home Decorating Contest. Weekends in the park bustle with activities, from candlelit walks to live demonstrations; horse drawn trolley rides and visits with Pandy-Rama our official mascot. The finale to this whirlwind of activity is a Family New Years Eve Skating Party...if you can squeeze your way onto the rink.

Our estimated attendance is over 15,000. We attract independent visitors from our region as well as motor coach tourists from across Ontario and the U.S.A. Register your motor coach and enjoy our official tour which includes a step-on-guide, complimentary refreshments at our Welcome Centre, a Carol Book and a small gift. We also operate a Gift Store for last minute shopping

The success and longevity of this event is due to the support of local Government, business owners, service clubs, board members and dedicated volunteers. Together we are determined to honour old traditions and eager to create new ones as the Panorama's story continues to unfold.

The Spirit of Christmas is definitely alive and well at the Simcoe Christmas Panorama!
